FurnaceBlinkCode ("we", "us") is operated by Real Tech Ventures LLC. This policy explains what information is handled when you use furnaceblinkcode.com.

1. No accounts, no server-side storage of your diagnoses

The decoder runs entirely in your browser. We do not require registration, and the flash patterns, symptoms and furnace details you enter are not sent to our servers. If you choose "Save to My Triage Log", the entry is stored only in your browser's localStorage (key furnace_triage_log_v1) on your device. You can delete it any time with "Clear Saved Log" or by clearing your browser data.

2. Cookies and advertising

We may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

3. Affiliate links

Some links to replacement parts or tools (for example on Amazon) are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate relationships never influence a fault diagnosis.

4. Digital product purchases

Purchases of the optional Field Pack are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number. We may receive your email address and purchase details from the processor to deliver your download and provide support.

5. Analytics and server logs

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested for security and performance purposes.

6. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. Because we store very little, most requests can be satisfied by clearing your browser data. For other requests, contact us.
